If you want to wake up to beautiful views every day, come to live in Jesús Pobre. Jesús Pobre is a lovely traditional Spanish village surrounded by orange groves, vineyards, and fine views of the Montgó mountain.
This Spanish village is a 10-minute drive from the coastal towns of Dénia and Jávea, and just minutes away from the Hotel Denia La Sella Golf Resort & Spa.
It is about an hour's drive along the AP7 motorway to either Alicante or Valencia with both cities boasting large international airports.
This small village with its narrow streets and traditional townhouses is ideal if you want to experience traditional, rural Spanish while being just a few minutes from busier multicultural coastal resorts.
Jesús Pobre has a weekly farmers’ market with wonderful local fruit and veg, bread, honey, wine and other local produce, and a monthly antiques fair. These are held on Sundays in the gorgeous riurau, which is an old building where they dried raisins in bygone days.
You even have a winery on your doorstep - Bodega Les Freses - and a couple of lovely restaurants, shops and bars.
Jesús Pobre has around 800 residents. They are mostly Spanish with a few expats enjoying this rural way of life.
Jesús Pobre offers a mix of properties from traditional townhouses and modern apartments in the village to fincas and country houses on its outskirts.
