It’s no secret that VillaMia help out in the local community! We care about where we live and do what we can to support local businesses, charities and communities.
The VíllaMía team headed out last week to APASA to take their rescue dogs out for morning walkies ...
Apasa is a charity supporting rescue & mistreated dogs, they fully rely on sponsorship and volunteers. APASA was founded in 1999 by a group of various nationalities including Spanish, English, German and Swiss. APASA was founded with the aim of rescuing those animals that were evidently abandoned, ill-treated or lost. The Ayuntamiento de Xabia (Spanish for Town Hall) allocated land for this purpose. It started with 23 dogs in 4 kennel areas of 3 x 4 metres square. With the years APASA has expanded its kennels to accommodate the increase number of residents and now has over 60 residents.
It was such a fun morning getting out of the office and walking these wonderful dogs.
Anyone is welcome to walk the dogs, contact APASA directly for more info: apasa.javea@gmail.com.
