On the twelfth anniversary of owning VillaMia, Michelle Hughes has rebranded to rejuvenate the agency's image.
With a new logo and colours, it aims to give clients a more modern and visually appealing brand identity to reflect the company´s forward-thinking and innovative side.
Michelle Hughes, owner of the successful agency which covers sales, long-term rentals, winter lets and property management, said: “What made the agency stand out before with the bright red and yellow colours had become dated. As I approached the 12-year mark, I thought it was the ideal time to evaluate the whole business, including the branding and make some changes.
“I'm incredibly grateful to Callam Walsh, who deals with the property management side of the business, for all his support. He was previously an owner of a Marketing and Graphic design business and his input was invaluable.
“Things are constantly evolving in this industry, such as new legislation and meeting client needs, and I have always prided myself on growing the business year on year and embracing change.”
Technological advancements have transformed the way the real estate industry operates. Online listings and virtual tours have become essential components of successful estate agencies. VillaMia led the way with video inventories in 2011, when Michelle took over the business and during Covid invested in new technology to offer 3-d Matterport videos completed in-house.
Callam Walsh added: “When my wife Julia and I started to look to buy a family villa in the area a few years ago, we had no idea it would lead to this point. Now the whole family is settled into a new country and home, and Julia and I are working with VillaMia. We want to help others in the same situation so Julia can help them through the buying process, and I can help with any property management work.”
As well as rebranding, the website has also been updated, and new advertising opportunities have been confirmed, including a new billboard in Javea, so look out for this.
The VillaMia team now stands at six, with the staff members being Victoria as an administration assistant, Jenni Hyde as the rentals manager, Verena Geis and Julia Walsh, both sales managers and Callam Walsh overseeing the property maintenance side of the business.
Clients are welcome to pop into the VillaMia office on the Arena, Monday 3 July, before 2pm, to enjoy a glass of cava and some cake to help celebrate the achievements of the agency.
