Things to consider when moving to Jávea

Choosing the right location

When people say location is the most important factor, they’re right! A beach-front property by the Arenal or Port sounds idyllic but it will be busy and noisy in the summer plus parking could be super difficult.

Likewise, living up the Montgó mountain or around Granadella beach with far-reaching views can be relaxing. But you’ll have to drive everywhere which could become a bore if you have to ferry children to school, friends’ houses, and after-school activities.

Think about your needs. Do you want to walk to the shops, bars and restaurants? Do you want to be near to a school? Do you need good public transport links? What is the wifi like in this area? Then see if the property you like is in the right location for you.

Things to do in Jávea

You’ll be pleased to know Jávea is a very social town with lots of clubs and associations for all ages. These include a tennis club, bowls club, rugby club, theatre group, computer club, U3A for people no longer in full-time employment and business networking meetings. Nearest Airport to Jávea

Jávea is about 75 minutes on the AP7 to the international airports at Valencia to the north and Alicante to the south. You can also get the ALSA bus to both airports.
