The Sound of Music
The valley of Llíber will be alive with the sound of music next week as LAUDE The Lady Elizabeth School presents this timeless musical on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 June, at 19.30 in the Senior School Theatre.
The cast is made up of students and staff from school, but the show will be far from your normal expectations of an end of year school show. The production is directed by Head of Performing Arts, Suzanne Millington, who has directed many successful productions for Laude The Lady Elizabeth over the last 12 years including Oliver, Grease, West Side Story, Joseph and We Will Rock You, to name but a few.
This year promises to be a real treat and Elysha and Tasha Fish from the Junior school will join the cast led by Sophie Prideaux as Maria and Andy Headford, Teacher of Biology and local celebrity as Captain Von Trapp. The show is to be performed by arrangement with Josef Weinberger and at a cost of just €5 per ticket, it would be a shame to miss it.
Tickets are available from both the Junior and Senior School offices.
