Javea Rugby Club
A new official rugby club - the ´Bulls´- has kicked off this month (May) in Javea.
Led by president Peter Sowerby, there is an ambitious game plan in place which includes a new stadium, clubhouse with changing rooms and a junior rugby club.
The new pitch is behind Javea´s football stadium and will hold league matches, exhibition matches and tournaments with UK and other foreign teams. The team has already started training in preperation for the Spanish league which starts in mid October.
The junior rugby club - supported by Laude Lady Elizabeth and Xabia International College - will provide training for children and will also run a summer sports camp.
