Denia
Denia is a large traditional Spanish town, located at the northern foot of the Montgo Mountain. Named after the Roman Temple of Diana, Denia still houses a stone from the temple inlaid within the façade of the town.

There are ferries that run regular services to both Majorca and Ibiza (which on a clear day is visible from Denia), and the new exclusive marina has over 1,000 moorings for all types and sizes of yachts. |
The port is also where the daily fish market is held – a place at which many of Denia's restauranteurs purchase their main ingredients.

The focal point of the town is the 'Castello', which is the old castle built by the forces during a siege of the Muslim town, and refortified during the War of Independence. Now it is a museum depicting Denia's history from 200 BC to the 18th Century |
